This song is my favourite by the late Ms. Winehouse, much less known than many of her other songs. It was one of the first songs Jay and I worked on.

This piece is a off of the epic Tom Waits album, The Heart of Saturday Night – the fourth song on the first side for those interested. I sang it for my first recital with my current voice teacher accompanied by the same person playing in this record, Mr. Michael Domet. Michael is an extraordinary Piano player who can sight read just about anything you can put in front of him. His accompaniment on this track was done in one take, having never seen the sheet music before.
